President Mahama Visits Bawku to Promote Peace and Development
President John Dramani Mahama is set to visit Bawku today, aiming to address the ongoing conflict and foster lasting peace in the troubled area.

As part of his visit, President Mahama will engage with key traditional leaders, starting with the Bawku Naaba, Zug-Rain Asigri Abugrago Azoka II, paramount chief of the Kusaug Traditional Area. He will then meet Nayiiri Bohagu Abdulai Mahama, the overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area. These meetings underscore his administration’s commitment to collaborating with local leaders and stakeholders in resolving the conflict.
