President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh, a former Executive Secretary of the Small Arms Commission, as the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited.
The appointment, effective January 21, 2025, is subject to the Constitutionally required advice of the Governing Board of GIHOC Distilleries, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission. This step is in line with due diligence to ensure the seamless execution of Mr Applerhโs mandate in his new role.
