Mahama Revokes Appointment of MIIF CEO Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng
President John Dramani Mahama has officially dismissed Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng from his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund (MIIF). The decision, communicated in a letter dated January 13, 2025, is effective immediately.
Dr Cassiel Ato Forson to Oversee MIIF Operations
The revocation notice, signed by the President’s Secretary, Callistus Mahama, instructed Yaw Koranteng to relinquish his duties to Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, the government’s representative at the Ministry of Finance. Dr. Forson will temporarily oversee the Fund’s operations until a new CEO is appointed.
President Mahama Acknowledges Yaw Koranteng’s Service
The letter also expressed the President’s appreciation for Yaw Koranteng’s service to the nation, acknowledging his contributions during his tenure at the helm of the Fund.
