A high-level closed-door meeting was held today at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), bringing together the Mayor of Accra, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ablekuma West, Hon. George Kpakpo Allotey, and a team of consultants working on the Dansoman Emergency Coastal Protection Project Phase 2.
Focus on Accelerating the Sea Defence Project
The meetingย focused on strategies to expedite the much-anticipatedย sea defense project along the coastal belt, spanningย from Ablekuma West to Ablekuma South. This ambitious initiative is designed not only to safeguard communities from coastal erosion but also to transform the shoreline into a vibrant socio-economic hub.
